Business Of Creative And Event Management Association: EMA
The Business of Creative and Event Management Association (EMA) originated from the exchange of ideas among seasoned professionals in the event industry, each with over 20 years of experience in organizing events and executing below-the-line marketing communications.
At the initial stage, EMA began as a small group and gradually gained recognition among companies within the same industry. This collaboration sparked a shared desire to foster creativity, provide support, and drive tangible development in the field of creative and event management. As a result, the group formally established the Event Management Club, with 39 founding member companies.
The organization was later officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce as the Business of Creative and Event Management Association (EMA) on April 10, 2007. The first annual general meeting was held in
June 19, 2007 to inform members about the change in status and to elect new committee members for the
continued management of the association.
Vision and Mission
- To elevate the role of the Association as a representative of the profession, setting directions, policies, and regulations that support the advancement of the profession, benefit the public and society, and align with governmental frameworks.
- To prepare Association members for integration into the ASEAN Economic Community, both in terms of domestic competition and readiness to seize regional opportunities.
- To advocate for policies related to workforce development in alignment with industrial needs, through collaboration with academic institutions in establishing criteria and enhancing professional standards.
- To promote social responsibility and foster professional ethics, instilling proper attitudes and actively participating in social initiatives.
